I'm a guitarist and singer and I'm starting to write some mostly instrumental music in the vein of Isis, Pelican, etc. I'm thinking of doing some ambient vocals over the top of it.

Anyone interested in a similar project? Drummers would need to really help drive the project. I like the sparseness of Isis' beats but also ability to play metal on the heavier parts.

For another guitarist, I'm thinking someone who can play more "lead" but also can do some experimental stuff.

For keys, I'm thinking ambient sounds, maybe some reverby piano parts.

Can anyone recommend a place where I can take my CD players and Karaoke players for repair? Someone reasonable and good at what they do. This would be an ongoing affair cause I am constantly using these two types of players and something always needs repair. If it's cheaper to fix it, then I will have it repaired.

Can you send me some names of places or people who have offered quality repair for you??

I consider myself an advanced beginner player, I'm in my early fifties and looking for someone who is interested in getting together once or twice a week to practice guitar. I'm tired of practicing alone. I am a 23 year old guitar player, who sings as well. I enjoy singing, but would rather share vocal duties with others. I have been playing guitar for over a decade, and own all top notch equipment. I would like to find other musicians to start a solid, working cover band. I would not be opposed to writing either, and have a wide catalogue of riffs, and ideas. I would like to play fun covers, that please most audiences. I am heavily inspired by jam bands, blues, funk, 90s rock, and classic rock bands, although I am open to all styles of music. I would enjoy playing many styles, as long as I am having fun. I would primarily like to jam about 2 times a week. I just moved back from Boston, and unfortunately most of my musical colleagues on the Cape and South Shore are currently busy with their own projects at the moment...Hopefully I hear back from some like-minded musicians...

Hi everyone,

I am a professional keyboardist who is looking to join up with a working band(s). I can sing backround vocals as well as some solo. I've been everywhere from being a N.Y.C. studio musician to playing Christian music to playing with Ritchie Havens, Don McClean, Chuck Berry, 1910 Fruit Gum Company to Maddy Perioux and sat in once, in place of Matthew Fisher of Procol Harum with Gary Brooker and Procol Harum on a gig. That was set up through CBS in N.Y.C.

I enjoy the blues, fusion, rock or jazz (nearly everything). I have enough "boards" (12) and amps to set up permanently in two places.

At this point in my life (56), I would love to find a commercial band (working) or also considered putting together a jazz trio with a female vocalist for year-round work. I am without a car at this moment but can get to rehearsals and gigs without a problem.

I am laid back ego-wise with no alcohol or drug issues and look at any possible enterprise as myself being "part of a team".
