Via Digg comes this very well crafted complex search to help you find "free" music

Use the following search including the quotes. Replace the <insert band name> part with you guessed it, the name of the band.

"<insert band name>" last modified mp3 "index of" -html -htm -php -asp

The search results should give you entire folders of music. This is actually an old trick, but it still works.

You can also replace the <insert band name> part with other keywords and change the file type mp3 to mov, avi, rm, etc... to find movies of all kinds.

Note: Be very careful when searching like this. You can get alot of nasty spyware, viruses, and other shit from downloading unknown files off the internet. Make sure you have properly updated spyware and virus protection software before you go messing around in these areas of the web.
